Jason has a long history as an entrepreneur with a proven track record as the founder of AutoCraft, Innova LLC and Laing Inc and now co-founder of White Crow. He excells in team leadership, fundraising, customer service, and strategic operations management, driving significant business growth for his numerous companies. 


He has a strong passion about financial innovation and sharing with the world a better way to invest.

Mark Jayne, CTO and CIO

Mark built his deep and varied knowledge of financial markets by starting his career in risk management software at SAS and Deutsche Bank, where he rebuilt their global risk management platform from scratch, enabling them to meet Dodd Frank and Basel III regulations.  He then moved into Artificial Intelligence, building the Adwords bidding algorithm at Yodle (sold to Web.com) and then the highly accurate real estate pricing algorithm at Orchard from scratch.


He has been trading since 2008 and building trading algorithms since 2016.  He draws on his wide and deep knowledge of many domains to build algorithms that both generate alpha and have rigorous risk management built in.

We trade three styles of algorithms which are based on self-reinforcing psychological and economic properties of markets.

  • Long-Term Trending:  Markets going up tend to continue upwards and vice-versa.  Trends are self-reinforcing; for example as people follow an upwards trend they buy into it, which pushes the price higher.  These strategies follow trends and hold positions for weeks or longer.
  • Breakout: Markets have "fat tails," meaning they generally alternate between periods of calm and then periods of higher volatility than would be expected from a normal distribution.  Breakout strategies profit from this behavior, caused by news events, supply/demand shocks or capitulation behavior to note a few.  They are also self-reinforcing, as people who trade a breakout (going in the direction of the break) push the market in the direction of the break.
  • Mean Reversion: Many, but not all, markets exhibit mean reversion for one of two reasons.  First, there is a fundamental underlying value that doesn’t change day-to-day, which is the case for stocks and their earnings+book value.  Second, when there are price shocks in commodities, the supply side will frequently reduce (in the case of low price) or increase (high price) supply, causing prices to revert backwards a bit.

Our statistical models predict most years' returns will be between 10% and 30% after fees for a moderate risk profile.  More risk averse portfolios can be generated.  What stays constant is our Sharpe ratio, which is 3-5x better than the S&P 500, as well as our low correlation with the stock market.


These models utilize past performance in their predictions and past performance is not necessarily an indicator of future results.  In no way should anything said here be considered a guarantee of future gains.  Investment using our systems is solely under the discretion of the client and can be terminated at any time.

We employ the proprietary trading industry standard of 0 and 50: we take zero management fees and charge you for 50% of any gains past the high water mark.  Billing occurs monthly and can be paid however the client sees fit.

We strongly advise that, rather than pulling out, you recognize going in that there will be market volatility, trust our return/risk statistics which are 3-4x better than the S&P 500.  If you want a less volatile portfolio, we can construct one for you in the subsequent quarter.


However since we trade futures which are highly liquid, we can liquidate your positions and disconnect our systems in 24 hours after receiving your request in writing.


Should you decide to withdraw your money, you will not be able to reinvest for a minimum of 1 year, or perhaps longer, at the discretion of the management team.
